Granite State News Collaborative Project Manager Melanie Plenda was one of the presenters at the two-day Collaborative Journalism Summit held May 16-17 in Montclair, NJ.

The conference was presented by the Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media. The Summit focuses on case studies of successful collaborative projects and keynote speakers.

Plenda took part in the Summit’s Ten Talks: A lightning round of 10-minute presentations about collaborative projects around the U.S. She spoke about why and how New Hampshire is taking a solutions-oriented approach to news through the Collaborative.
